How we help teach you the Czech language
Start with your first lesson
Begin learning immediately, no separate discovery call required. We use the first lesson to learn you and your needs, and teach you some core Czech fundamentals.
We shape your program around you
We outline your goals, plans and interests to build a context to our lessons that will keep you engaged and accelerate your learning.
Learn remotely and interactively
We teach online and remotely to offer services wherever you are. Our unique interactive approach means we use materials to keep lessons in your mind during and in between lessons.

All lessons online from anywhere
Your first lesson
You choose your preferred program and book a time directly in the calendar. All first lessons are delivered online via Zoom, so employees and family members can join from wherever they are in the world.
In the very first lesson, we combine teaching with a short conversation about your current Czech, your relocation plans, and any specific situations you are worried about – from town‑hall paperwork to workplace small talk.
Shape your lessons
After your first lesson, we refine the structure of your program based on what emerged: your current level, your goals, and the demands of your work and family life. Rather than forcing everyone into a fixed curriculum, Czech Atelier adjusts the emphasis to work with your life and your interests.
More focus on housing, schools and daily errands if you are moving with a partner or children.
Extra attention to administrative language if you are facing residency, banking or healthcare appointments.
A stronger workplace track if you will be using Czech with colleagues or clients.
Teaching with interactivity
Teaching is built around regular live sessions and focused practice between lessons. Everything is designed to be practical, interactive and anchored in the situations you actually face during relocation.
Some of the tools we use
Live lessons on Zoom – structured 1:1 or small‑group sessions with speaking practice and feedback.
Google Classroom – a central space for materials and assignments.
Interactive tools – Wordwall activities, videos and other exercises to reinforce vocabulary and structures in a more engaging way.
Trusted references – official textbooks and curated resources used only where they genuinely support your goals.
Record and adapt
Life and progress are always changing, so Czech Atelier builds in regular checks so you can see progress and adjust the focus of lessons as your life in Czechia evolves.
Short check‑ins at key milestones (for example, after 5, 10 or 20 lessons).
Qualitative feedback on what is improving, plus what to focus on next.
Adjustments as new challenges appear – such as a role change, a new project, or upcoming school meetings
